Pulse Today is a small add-on for Claude Code. It notices when you have worked without logging it and helps you log it in one press. It also shows your day at a glance and can remind you to take breaks.

A Pulse Pro feature, in beta. Included in the 14-day trial. On the Free plan it stays quiet, and the /pulse-capture skill keeps working.

/pulse-today for a timeline of your day, your totals against your daily target, and a chart of your week./pulse-capture skill installed (see Skill - /pulse-capture). Capture needs it; the rest works without it.Unzip it. Double-click the downloaded zip in Finder. You get a pulse-today folder.
Move it somewhere permanent. In Finder choose Go → Go to Folder… (Shift+Cmd+G), type ~/.claude and press Return. Create a folder named mods there and drag pulse-today into it, so you end up with ~/.claude/mods/pulse-today.
Tell Claude Code where it is. Add this entry to ~/.claude/settings.json, inside the file's outer { } and next to your other settings, with a comma between entries. Then restart Claude Code.
"env": {
"CLAUDE_CODE_PLUGIN_DIRS": "~/.claude/mods/pulse-today"
},
If the file already has an env entry, add only the CLAUDE_CODE_PLUGIN_DIRS line inside it. Just trying it out? Start Claude Code with claude --plugin-dir ~/.claude/mods/pulse-today instead.
Run /pulse-today. The Today view opens. Run /pulse-today status any time to see the version and whether Pulse is connected.
